He ain't heavy, he's my brother. Actually sometimes he is a bit heavy, his landscapes get really moody. I love them, they give me a real sense of the force, chaos and similtaneous tranquility, of nature.

My favouirite childrens book illustrator, who also happens to be my sister! Plum pudding published most of her work to date, but the best is yet to come. The recent work capturing snippets of amusing, and really quite surreal family life in the guise of a family of dogs is simply brilliant.

Grampa. Our family home has always been filled wall to wall by his paintings, but what inspired me most as a child was his studio, his books, sculptures and love of jazz. I wish that I had had the chance to know him as an adult, as I have hundreds of questions to ask about what must have beeen quite an extaordinary life.

Granny. Although not as well acclaimed as my grandfather, for me, it's my granmother's paintings and her battle against the odds which impress me most. Amazingly, she continued to paint up until a month before she died at age 96. A true inspiration, who encouraged and supported me always.

There is no online representation of granny's work as such, but Luke recently created an artist's facebook page to share her work.

With a steady hand and fantastic attention to detail, Isa will always be my first choice when I get my tattoo designs done.

Super fresh graphics, these guys have got style. This is graphic design at it's best.

We chill, Pete writes poetry while I paint. Sometimes he plays the ukulele; that's a little more distracting. Poetry-doodle book is on the to-do list, but it's quite a long list.

Clare makes personalized polymer clay cake toppers to order. They're superb. So if you're planning a special event, go one better than the icing on the cake!

Maria's textile work looks at the restrictions of embroidery when compared to the freedom of painting, or more specifically at the random qualities of paint as a material, against the controlled use of the stitch. She also makes interesting connections between drawing and handwriting. Really lovely stuff.
